Open Society Report – Angola Oil

Angola’s oil production economy enriches the wealthy political elites and leaves the masses in dire poverty according to Angola Oil Industry Operations, a research report commissioned by the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa.

For the design and production of this important rights publication we developed an art direction that utilised single colour printing and took advantage of a specialised paper stock to create a tactile finish. Stardream Anthracite, a paper from Papersmith & Son, was used because of it’s dark but lustrous finish that reflected the subject matter.
